Oor lights were designed with flexible and easy mounting options in mind. The included ratchet strap is intended for mounting your light kit to a barrel feeder, box feeder, tree trunk,light pole, etc… while the included U-bolts will secure the kit to a std T-post. Add a 3′ long PVC extension pipe to attain your desired final elevation.It is generally recommended to mount your light approximately 8′ above the ground and tilt it to aim at a bait pile approximately 20′ away from the light. Keeping this in mind, a T-post should be located off to the left or right of the feeder, quartering away from the hunter’s location. If mounting on the feeder, it is best to have a bait pile approximately 20′ off to the left or right of the feeder with the light quartering away from the hunter’s line of sight.
