With wifi camera and phone app (no cell or internet service needed)

with “NO SPOOK” fading on/off !!

The PLATINUM light is our most popular feeder light. It also can be mounted anywhere very easily
using our mounting kit.
The light functions the same way as the ILLUMINATOR, but we have added a wifi camera that will allow you to capture
the action with photo and video. The camera is controlled using the Hogfader app on your phone. Don’t worry, there is
no need for cell service or internet as the camera provides the wifi network signal. You can see a video that was

Connecting to the unit’s camera via wifi:
step 1:  Connect 12v DC to the power jack on back of the unit (there is no ON/OFF button, but it must be dark for the
unit to turn on) tip: you can cover the night sensor with tape for testing in light conditions
step 2:  Open your wifi connection settings on your smart device
step 3: Look for your Hogfader unit’s wifi network on the list of networks, then select it to connect.
(Your unique wifi network name will be “Hogfader_color_unit number“) The password is 12345678 
step 4: Once connected to the network, open your web browser and enter the following url:  192.168.4.1/home
…..Or you can scan the QR code that was provided on the box that your light came in.
You should see the following screen appear:

When you press the “Toggle Live Video” button, you will see an additional display appear showing the live action.
You can then select to record, stop recording and download. The video will be saved to your
download directory on your smart device (phone or tablet). Each time you snap a photo, it will save that image to the SD card inside your unit’s case. I did not design an SD card ‘slot’ into the case
because I wanted to eliminate the chance for water, dirt or bug intrusion. It will be a matter of unscrewing the lid and removing the SD card from the camera board at the end of your hunt,
whether it’s only a few days or several weeks.
Note:  The IR version of our light has built in “red alert” leds that will blink a few times when motion is sensed so that the hunter is ‘alerted’ to the presence of animals.

Our lights are assembled and programmed when an order is received. Your unique unit# is entered in the code that is then uploaded to your microprocessor. There can be several Hogfader PLATINUM
units on one property and each one will be able to be accessed by it’s unique unit#. If you have a specific name you would like to use instead of the default sequential unit#, just let us know and we will
be glad to incorporate that.
