The HOGFADER mounting kit includes a solar panel and charge controller, allowing the system to operate from a standard 12-volt feeder battery.

This makes the system particularly useful for remote hunting locations where conventional electrical power isn’t available.

The included wiring harness also provides flexibility when positioning the battery and other components.

Important Battery Information

A 12-volt battery is required but is not included with the mounting kit.

We recommend a standard 12-volt feeder-style battery, typically around 8Ah.

HOGFADER does not store or ship batteries, so customers will need to supply their own.
